Terms of Service & Client Agreement
Treasured A brand of Guidepost Collective LLC Effective Date: August 20, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Treasured website, content, products, and services. By visiting this website, purchasing a product, commissioning a keepsake, booking a service, submitting a form, or otherwise engaging with Treasured ("Treasured," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Client," "you," or "your") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1) Who We Are
Treasured is a brand of Guidepost Collective LLC, a Michigan limited liability company based in Petoskey, Michigan. Treasured is an experience designer for life's meaningful moments in Northern Michigan, offering celebration and experience design, personalized keepsakes, getaway and arrival concierge coordination, and local travel guidance, with a primary focus on Charlevoix and Emmet Counties, including but not limited to Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Bay Harbor, Boyne City, Boyne Falls, Charlevoix, East Jordan, Walloon Lake, and surrounding communities (the "Service Area"). Northern Michigan Travel Guide is a related travel-content brand of Guidepost Collective LLC.
Treasured is a design, styling, coordination, referral, and personal-concierge service, and a maker of custom keepsakes. We are not a licensed alcohol retailer or transporter, a licensed kitchen or caterer, a transportation provider, a travel agency, a tour operator, a lodging provider, a licensed travel advisor, or an event venue, and we do not act as an agent for any third party.
2) Services Offered
Treasured may offer some or all of the following, with current names, scope, and pricing listed on our website at the time of purchase:
Celebration & Experience Design. Planning, styling, and coordination for proposals, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, intimate celebrations, gatherings, and similar occasions.
Personalized Keepsakes. One-of-a-kind, custom-designed tribute pieces and keepsakes (such as printed canvases) created from materials and information you provide.
Getaway & Arrival Concierge. Coordination of arrival-ready homes and stays, including welcome setups, grocery and pantry stocking, styling, and curated local experiences, subject to third-party availability and separate quoting where applicable.
Travel Planning & Guides. Northern Michigan trip guidance, itineraries, and digital guides.
Vendor Referrals & Preferred Partnerships. Introductions and coordination with independent local vendors, which may involve referral compensation as described in Section 10.
Pricing, turnaround times, and inclusions are those shown on the applicable product or service page at the time of your purchase, which control if they differ from the general descriptions here.
3) What We Do and Do Not Provide
Treasured designs, styles, coordinates, and refers. To keep our role clear and lawful:
Alcohol. Treasured is not a licensed alcohol retailer or transporter and does not sell, provide, purchase on your behalf, transport, or deliver alcohol. Any alcoholic beverages must be selected, purchased, and delivered separately by you or a licensed retailer or vendor, for guests aged 21 and over. Treasured's role is limited to styling and setup.
Food. Treasured may purchase retail grocery and food items at your request and arrange or style them on site. Treasured does not operate as a licensed kitchen or caterer and does not prepare or cook food commercially. Any prepared, cooked, or catered food is provided by licensed chefs or caterers coordinated on your behalf.
Transportation. Treasured does not provide transportation. We coordinate and refer you to licensed local transportation and shuttle providers, who are solely responsible for their services.
In addition, Treasured does not: guarantee the availability, pricing, hours, quality, or performance of any third-party business; make or hold reservations or bookings unless expressly agreed in writing; provide legal, medical, financial, or safety advice; provide emergency services or on-site supervision; or act as an agent for any vendor or venue.
4) Personalized Keepsakes & Custom Products
Because keepsakes are custom-made to order, the following applies:
Made to order; final sale. Each keepsake is personalized and produced specifically for you. Once you approve your design or production begins, keepsakes are non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged, except for a defect in materials or printing as described below.
Your materials and rights. You are responsible for providing the photos, images, text, and other materials for your piece. By providing them, you represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to use them, that you have the consent of any identifiable individuals featured, and that the materials do not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party. You grant Treasured a limited license to use, edit, adapt, and reproduce your materials solely to create your keepsake.
Third-party content. Treasured builds from the materials you supply and cannot verify the rights to third-party images, artwork, logos, song lyrics, or brands. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any such content, and you agree to indemnify Treasured for any claim arising from the materials you provide (see Section 13).
Design ownership. Treasured retains ownership of the original artwork, design files, and composition it creates. You receive the physical keepsake and a personal, non-commercial license to display and enjoy it. Commercial use, reproduction, or resale requires our prior written permission.
Proofs and revisions. Unless stated otherwise on the product page, a keepsake includes one proof and one reasonable round of revisions before production. Additional revisions or redesigns may require an added fee, quoted in advance.
Production, specifications, and delivery. Sizes, finishes, and turnaround times are those listed on the product page. Printed colors and textures may vary slightly from what you see on a screen. Production and shipping or pickup timelines are estimates, and Treasured is not responsible for carrier delays.
Defects. If your keepsake arrives with a genuine material or printing defect, contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos, and we will repair, remake, or replace the piece at our discretion.
5) Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and timely information, including (where relevant) dates, location(s), group type and size, preferences, budget, accessibility needs, materials for keepsakes, and any must-have items or constraints. Incomplete or inaccurate information may reduce the usefulness of our work and may require additional paid time to revise. You are solely responsible for making and confirming your own reservations, bookings, transportation, and arrangements unless we have expressly agreed in writing to coordinate a specific item, and you remain responsible for compliance with any venue, rental, or homeowner rules.
6) Fees, Pricing, Taxes & Scope Changes
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Prices for services are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated. Physical products, such as keepsakes, are subject to Michigan sales tax where applicable, which will be added at checkout or in your quote. For packages that involve third-party vendor costs (such as groceries, rentals, florals, chefs, or transportation), those costs are additional and will be presented to you in an itemized estimate for your approval before anything is arranged. Requests involving expanded scope (additional days or locations, larger groups, high customization, specialized needs, multiple revisions, or additional research or coordination) may require an additional quote, agreed before further work is performed.
7) Refund Policy
Because Treasured provides time-based, personalized services and made-to-order custom products, the following applies:
Personalized services (celebration and experience design, arrival and concierge coordination, and planning) are non-refundable once work has begun or a deliverable has been provided. If you cancel before any work has begun, we may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund.
Custom keepsakes and physical products are non-refundable once your design is approved or production begins, except for a genuine defect as described in Section 4.
Digital products (guides, itineraries, and downloads) are non-refundable once purchased, because access is delivered immediately.
Deposits, where required to reserve a date or begin design, are non-refundable but may be applied to your balance.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have that cannot be waived under applicable law.
8) Vendor Costs & Third-Party Approvals
For any experience involving vendor purchases or bookings, you will receive an itemized estimate and must approve the total before Treasured arranges or spends on your behalf. Certain experiences may require additional vendor agreements, waivers, deposits, or approvals prior to confirmation. Vendor costs are your responsibility and are separate from Treasured's design and coordination fees.
9) Digital Products & License
All digital products are licensed, not sold, for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, or share the files or their contents without our prior written permission. We are not responsible for your device's or software's inability to open standard file formats.
10) Third-Party Providers, Referrals & Affiliate Disclosure
We may mention, recommend, or refer you to independent third-party businesses (including lodging, restaurants, wineries, transportation and shuttle providers, chefs, caterers, mobile bar services, photographers, florists, rental companies, coordinators, venues, and activity providers). These are provided as guidance, not guarantees. Third parties set their own availability, pricing, licensing, policies, and terms, and you are responsible for confirming all details directly with them. Treasured is not liable for the acts, omissions, performance, cancellations, quality, licensing, or safety of any third party. Treasured may receive a referral fee or commission from vendors for booked work; this does not affect the integrity of our recommendations, and material relationships will be disclosed where required by law.
11) No Guarantees; Assumption of Risk
Events, gatherings, and travel involve inherent risks, including weather, road and water conditions, closures, staffing shortages, seasonal changes, and vendor availability. Recommendations and plans may become unavailable due to circumstances outside our control. We do not guarantee any specific result, experience, satisfaction outcome, price, or availability. You assume full responsibility for your own decisions, bookings, and participation in any recommended activity, and you participate at your own risk.
12) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Treasured, Guidepost Collective LLC, and its members, officers, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost enjoyment, travel or lodging costs, cancellations, injuries, illness, property damage, delays, or third-party failures, arising out of or related to your use of our website, products, or services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you actually paid to Treasured for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
13) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Treasured and Guidepost Collective LLC and its members, officers, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of our website, products, or services; your decisions; your interactions with any third-party provider; or any materials you provide for a keepsake, including any claim that such materials infringe or violate the rights of a third party.
14) Intellectual Property
All content and original designs created by Treasured (including keepsake artwork and design files, itineraries, written guidance, templates, branding, blog and journal content, and photography) are owned by Treasured or Guidepost Collective LLC and are protected by applicable law. They are provided for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, resold, redistributed, republished, or used commercially without our prior written permission.
15) Privacy
We collect only the information reasonably needed to provide our services (such as name, email, project details, and materials you provide) and to process payments and manage forms through service providers such as Squarespace. We do not sell your personal data. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy at northernmichigantravelguide.tips/privacy-policy.
16) Payment Processing
Payments are processed through Squarespace and/or its third-party payment partners, and you agree to any applicable processor terms. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute after deliverables have been provided may result in refusal of future service and documentation of the work performed.
17) Communications
By purchasing from or contacting us, you consent to receive emails necessary to fulfill your order and provide your service, including delivery, proofs, and follow-up. Marketing or promotional emails are optional and sent only with your opt-in, and you may unsubscribe at any time.
18) Termination & Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate service, at our discretion, including where a client engages in abusive or harassing conduct, requests illegal or unsafe activity (including any request to sell, transport, or serve alcohol unlawfully, or to use materials the client does not have the right to use), repeatedly demands work beyond the purchased scope without paying for it, or initiates a chargeback after receiving deliverables.
19) Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, unless the parties mutually agree in writing to an alternative dispute resolution process.
20) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on our website at the time of your purchase or use applies to that transaction. Continued use of the website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
